Beef in Oyster Sauce

Almost every household who cook Chinese food would have Oyster sauce in their pantry/fridge.  Nowadays Oyster sauce is used in various asian cooking, one of old fav dish is Beef in Oyster Sauce. Easy to prepare and need very few ingredients.


  • Sliced Beef
  • Ginger + Spring Onion + Capsicum
  • Green vege : Bok Choy or Gai Lan


  • cooking wine
  • soy sauce
  • corn starch
  • olive oil


  • Water
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sugar
  • Pepper
  • Corn starch / Potato Starch


  • marinade beef for 10-15min
  • blanch green veg in hot water and rinse with cold water, remove and set aside
  • heat wok with oil, then stir fry ginger, spring onion and capsicum until fragrant, add beef and stir fry until colour changes. Pour in the premixed sauce and bring to a boil then mix in pre-blance vege. ready to serve
