Almost every household who cook Chinese food would have Oyster sauce in their pantry/fridge. Nowadays Oyster sauce is used in various asian cooking, one of old fav dish is Beef in Oyster Sauce. Easy to prepare and need very few ingredients.
Ingredients
- Sliced Beef
- Ginger + Spring Onion + Capsicum
- Green vege : Bok Choy or Gai Lan
Marinade
- cooking wine
- soy sauce
- corn starch
- olive oil
Sauce
- Water
- Oyster Sauce
- Sesame Oil
- Soy Sauce
- Sugar
- Pepper
- Corn starch / Potato Starch
Preparations
- marinade beef for 10-15min
- blanch green veg in hot water and rinse with cold water, remove and set aside
- heat wok with oil, then stir fry ginger, spring onion and capsicum until fragrant, add beef and stir fry until colour changes. Pour in the premixed sauce and bring to a boil then mix in pre-blance vege. ready to serve
